What We Offer (Besides Compliments on Your Wardrobe)
TSA — The Suitcase Alternative — is a closet-sharing service that’s part style hack, part sustainability mission, and 100% genius. The idea was created out of my own need and this two-fold problem I constantly have.
I enjoy browsing and shopping for clothes online, but let’s be real — I don’t have nearly enough occasions in a year to actually wear all the stuff I buy. Could some of it make me money and make me feel better about my overflowing closet? No one’s asking you to rent out your favorite dress — the one you’d save in a fire. This is more about those random-but-cute pieces you bought for that one trip, one concert, one oddly-themed bachelorette weekend. They’ve served their moment — now give them a second life. Think of it like the Turo of closets: people started by renting out the car they had, and now some literally buy a car just to list it. You could do the same with clothes — except the barrier is lower, and the outfits are way cuter.
This service would be even more clutch for kids, who outgrow their clothes over night.
On the other hand, I hate packing. I don't know what to bring. I don't want to over/underpack. I never understand the destination enough. Weather is constantly changing. And even though my husband is a simple creature, we still have to pack for him. My kid could technically wear his favorite shorts over and over again, but accidents happen (all the time, BTW). All of a sudden, that carry on bacame super tight! I don't want to impulse buy something we will not wear again, duh.
Clothes are just so easy to clean and reuse. If someone does you "dirty", slam them with one star review. Just like you'd do to your Uber driver or AirBnB host.
